We have always been creative and surprisingly working with leather meets both our creative ambitions. We come from different backgrounds at Leather by PJC which gives us each a different perspective on how we create something that is functional, beautiful and is a quality product.

We have been working with leather for 5 years now and you know what? We still think that is a wonderful material. Vegetable tanned leather has been around for at least 3500 years. The Egyptians used to tan leather with papyrus grasses. Only 10% of the worlds leather is produced this way. Vegetable tanned leather is strong, flexible and durable if looked after can last for years. It can be etched, embossed and wet moulded and when dry hold its shape.
